Learn simple methods for relaxation, stress reduction, learning growth and development.

Monica has been exploring hypnosis and mind power techniques personally since 1970. She founded Experience Hypnosis, a private practice in hypnosis in 1985. In 1994, she completed compiling a training manual for "what works" in hypnosis in response to the requests from health care providers eager to learn how she was getting the results with medical patients who had failed to respond to traditional allopathic treatment. In response to learning she needed a degree equal to her students in order to be paid for teaching her hypnotherapy program to college and university students, she closed Experience Hypnosis Key West practice in 1995 to enter the Eckerd College BA in Human Development in St. Petersburg, FL, graduating in three years, summa cum laud with a minor in gender studies.

A graduate degree in Human Development from Salve Regina University allowed her to explore her observations while guest teaching at a school for children with attention deficit issues, an apparent mind reading capacity of the students in the class who were accurately intuiting her next question(s). Her pilot study indicated that the hyperactivity element of attention deficit appeared to be more psi conducive, lacking the hyperactivity element appeared to be less psi conducive than controls which could indicate psi blocking capacities.

A doctorate in Counseling Psychology (Ed.D.) at Argosy/Sarasota included a dissertation topic of Neurofeedback for PTSD Symptom Reduction. Her findings support the growing body of literature regarding the educational benefit of using neurofeedback training to create overall systemic strength and balance. The human systems have remarkable restorative effects when given a proper timing of the nervous system for integrated performance capacities. The effects appear to be cumulative, residual, restorative of innate creative capacities, and mood enhancing. As one young child said to his dad as he was coming in the door for a neurofeedback session, Im going to the happy place.
